Dennis Hadaway will take the helm at W.S. Neal Middle School in the new calendar year, and Hugh White will be Pollard-McCall's new principal.
The Escambia County Board of Education named the new principals Thursday afternoon.
Hadaway currently serves as assistant principal of NMS. He will replace Gayle Fountain, who is retiring after nine years as principal.
White currently teaches science and may at Pollard/McCall. He will replace Danny Norwood, who has worked in the system more than 30 years.
Candidates for the principals' jobs were interviewed by a selection committee that included teachers and parents.
