Mr. William Roy McPherson, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, in El Cajon. He was a native of Brewton and had been a resident of the San Diego area for the past 58 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of San Diego State College. He was a retired technical publication supervisor for General Dynamics Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Roy and Annie Holley McPherson.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kipp McPherson; two daughters, Holly (Jim) Mayhew of Fresno, Calif., and Kathy (David) Murphy of Wheatridge, Colo.; a sister, Carolyn Geck of Brewton; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
