The W.S. Neal Blue Eagles won a coin toss with Straughn for the third seed at next week's Class 3A Area 1 Tournament to be played at Clarke County.
W.S. Neal and Straughn both finished 1-5 in Area play and split their two meetings.
That sets up a first-round matchup between W.S. Neal and second-seeded T.R. Miller. That game will be played February 10 at 6 p.m. Top-seeded Clarke County will play fourth-seeded Straughn in the other first-round game at 7:30 p.m. that evening.
T.R. Miller won three regular season meetings with the Blue Eagles, while Clarke County knocked off Straughn twice.
The two winners will return to Grove Hill for the championship game February 13 at 7:30 p.m.
