Mrs. Carolyn Stallworth Payne, 52, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, in a local hospital. She was a native and life long resident of the Brewton area. She worked as an insurance agent, an interior designer and was an ordained minister. She was a member of Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Terrance Stallworth and Taconious Stallworth, both of Brewton and Toland Stallworth of Stone Mountain, Ga.; a daughter, Lareca Payne of Monroeville and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial will follow in Baptist Hill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
