Mrs. Zelma M. Coleman, 88, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and long time resident of Monroe County before moving to Brewton in 1957. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of East Brewton and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Lilly) Coleman and Charles (Wynette) Coleman, both of Brewton; one brother, Gerald Melton of Monroeville; three grandchildren, Chuck (Celeste) Coleman of Montgomery, Chris (Melissa) Coleman and Pam (Mike) Driskell, both of Brewton; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Michael King and Bro. Jeff Scurlock officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
