Mrs. Alice White German, 87, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, in Flomaton. She was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Canoe. She attended the Faith Bible Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles German and a daughter, Brenda German Ragan.
She is survived by two sons, Claude German of Pace, Fla., and Charles Allen German of Atmore; four daughters, Barbara Black of Raleigh, N.C., Annette Mixon of Flomaton, Linda J. Stuckey of Byrneville, Fla., and Charlene Young of Atmore; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. at the Faith Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Stokes, the Rev. Greg Stuckey and the Rev. Alan Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Canoe Freewill Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Tim Mixon, Wayne Mixon, Randy Ragan, William Stuckey, Steve German and Greg Stukey.
