Mrs. Beatrice Lett, 85, died Feb. 6, 2006. She was a native of Brewton, a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a member of Snowden Chapter 846 Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barzell Lett.
She is survived by her children, Patrice (Phillip) Porterfield of Pensacola, Fla., and Charles Lett of Brewton; two sisters, Millie Harris of Philadelphia, Penn., and Jeanette Edwards of Detroit, Mich.; a brother, HiramLovelace of Detroit; three step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at Second Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. H.B. King officiating, Burial followed at the church cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
