Friends of Terri and Treavor Smith shouldn't have a difficult time remembering their anniversary.
The couple chose yesterday, Valentine's Day, as their wedding date, marrying in the downtown gazebo at dusk. White lights lined the sidewalk that served as an aisle for the wedding party and twinkled from the park's crepe myrtle and the gazebo. White tulle marked the park benches reserved for guests and tiny red roses were woven into the lattice of the gazebo.
In keeping with the Valentine's theme, the bride carried a bouquet of red roses.
Is it difficult to pull off a weekday wedding? A Valentine's wedding?
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Sandra Nall of East Brewton and the granddaughter of Johnnie Haveard Jr. of East Brewton and the late Dorothy Haveard, Elsie Nall of Brewton, Emmett Nall of McDavid, Fla., and Johnn Sheppard of Pelzer, S.C.
The groom's parents are Barbara Smith of East Brewton and the late Mickey Smith. He is the grandson of Barbara McDonald of Uriah and the late Carl McDonald and the late Mr. and Mrs. James J. Hammac, formerly of East Brewton.
