Mr. Charles Raymond &#8220Raybone” McArthur, 48, of Veasey Street in East Brewton, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, and a long time resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was a carpenter and was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his parents, Charlie and Pat McArthur of East Brewton; two sons, Richard Nelson of Texas and Joseph Dewayne McArthur of Riverview; one brother, Danny McArthur of East Brewton; one sister, Cindy (Mark) Gross of Panama City, Fla.; three nephews and one niece.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 3:30 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Ray Singleton officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
