Mr. Marvin Earl Kiser, 56, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Jay, Fla., and a longtime resident of Brewton. He was of the Baptist faith and a former logger with T.R. Miller Mill Company.
He is survived by his wife, Merle Sims Kiser of Brewton; two sons, Shannon (Bonnie) Kiser and Shelby (Grace) Kiser, both of Brewton; two daughters, Sherrie Thompson of Brewton and Sheila (Barry) Sager of Atmore; four sisters, Frances Cain of Mississippi, Annie Ruth Capps and Shirley Kendrick, both of Brewton, Helen Davis of Florida, and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Feb. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
