Mr. Lyle Jasper Hatfield, 32, of Hwy. 41, East Brewton died Thursday, February 23, 2006, in a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Kirksville, Mo. and a resident of Brewton since 1996. He was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church and owner/operator of Handyman Home Repairs.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Benner of Kirksville; his wife, Christy Clay Hatfield of East Brewton; a daughter, Bethany Nicole Hatfield of East Brewton; two brothers, Gile Eugene II and Justin (Sherri) Hatfield, both of Kirksville; one sister, Sonnie Johnson of East Brewton; six nieces and nine nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Cadenhead officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
