Mrs. Pearl Boatwright, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, in Jay. She was a native of Atmore and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jean Day Boatwright; her parents, Arthur and Carrie Bell Sellers; two brothers, Arthur Sellers Jr. and Joe Frank Sellers; two sisters, Mary Sellers and Ralphine Morrow and three grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, Billy (Diane) Boatwright, Charles Boatwright (currently on active duty in Iraq), Douglas Boatwright and Wayne Boatwright, all of Century, Fla.; five daughers, Glorie Jean (Ray) Lawson and Sue (Charles) Walston Jr., both of Century, Judy (David) Tillery of Atmore, Margie Knowles of Brewton and Kathy (Donald) Walston of Pensacola; a brother, Aubrey &#8220Toab” (Jackie) Sellers of Atmore; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Chapel Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be Dewey Boatwright, Jay Knowles, George Chavers, Rodney Grimes, Joe Brantley and Wink Killam.
