Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks baseball coach Darrell Blevins has made three early signings for his 2007 squad.
Among the signings are pitchers Joshua Presley and Hunter Brown.
Presley, a 6-2, 185-pound righthander from West Florida Tech High School in Pensacola (Fla.), has some good baseball bloodlines, as he is the son of former Atlanta Brave Jim Presley. Jim Presley is currently the hitting instructor for the Florida Marlins and has previously been with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Brown is a 6-0, 175-pound righthander from Maplesville High School.
JDCC has also signed Kyle Snedeker, a 6-2, 205-pound catcher from Choctawhatchee High School located at Fort Walton Beach (Fla.).
With 31 freshmen on the roster, Blevins does not have a lot of recruiting to do for next season.

Former T.R. Millers centerfielder Jacob Salter is off to a good start at Alabama Southern College.
Through nine games Salter is hitting .324 (11-for-34) with eight runs scored and a pair of RBIs.
Two other former T.R. Miller graduates are also on the Alabama Southern roster. Sophomore righthanded pitcher Patrick Sorrells has appeared in five games so far and sports a 4.15 earned run average. Sorrells has no record with one save. Opponents are hitting .158 against him so far in four and one-third innings of work.
Sophomore righthanded pitcher Eli Cook has worked eight and one-third innings and has a 7.56 earned run average with four strikeouts.
Both Sorrells and Cook played at Jefferson Davis Community College last year before they opted to transfer to Alabama Southern.
