Waukegan, Ill.
Ms. Sandra Kay Lee Cunningham, 46, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, in an Illinois hospital. She was a native of Amarillo, Texas, and had resided in Alabama for 15 years before moving to Waukegan. She was a homemaker, an artist and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard “Pete” Lee, her grandmothers, Grace Powell of Flomaton and Nell Bradley of Frisco City.
She is survived by her mother, Clara Bradley of Frisco City; her brother, Lenny Lee of Frisco City; her sisters, Dana Higdon of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Cindy Ward of Montgomery; her uncles, Mickey Powell, Larry Powell, Kenny Powell and Steve Pierce, all of Flomaton and Tony Powell, Freddie Bradley and Gerald Bradley, all of Cantonment, Fla.; an aunt, Dianne Stafford of Sugarland, Texas; her former husband, Jerry Cunningham of Waukegan and her stepsons, Christopher Higdon and Dustin Higdon, both of Waukegan.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at Canoe Cemetery with the Rev. John Finklea officiating and Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
