Mrs. Audrey Mae Wilson, 74, of Schad Street in East Brewton, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at a Pensacola hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace Nix Jr. of Brewton; three sons, Eddie (Vivian) McCall and David (Oraleigh) McCall, both of Brewton and Ronald (Marcia) McCall of East Brewton; two daughters, Martha (Jessie) Jackson and Cinda (Bobby) Blair, both of Brewton; three brothers, I.J. Wilson and Jimmy Wilson, both of Brewton and Jeppie Wilson of Mobile; a sister, Jewel Gantt of Brewton and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 17, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wesley Patrick officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
