The South Coast Region of Alabama's 4-H Program recently held its annual Regional Congress in Brewton.
The Escambia County Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System played host to the five county event held Saturday, April 1.
T. R. Miller High School was the site of a very successful day in which 4-H students participated in a wide variety of contests and other fun filled educational events.
The Escambia County Extension would like to thank the following people for donating their time in helping to make this event a great success.
Lynn Smith and Donnie Rotch for the use of the facility and those who served as judges for the many contests: Dan Shaddock, Mary-Allison Lancaster, Will Crane, Ellen Bailey, Larry Bailey, Betty Clark, Tracey Watson, Melanie McGougin, Lynette Avant, Monica Watson, Sandra Kelly, Marilyn Bass, Barbara Page, Fred Lancaster and Sharon Peacock.
Thanks also to Ronelda Blackburn and Kathy Farrior for preparing the wonderful lunch for the children and parents. Thanks to Lee Bain for his amazing art demonstration and Janet Peterman for her fun filled exercise program.
The 4-H students really enjoyed the two fun shop activities.
