Brewton Mill Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its new, full-service main office located at 2549 South Boulevard in Brewton on Monday, April 10 with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Credit Union recently completed construction of the new facility in response to steady growth and the need to provide a wider range of financial services.
The Credit Union was previously located in a small space within Brewton Mill.
While the new location requires members to travel off-site to visit the Credit Union, Williamson is confident that the benefits of moving outweigh any perceived disadvantages.
Design Build Concepts of Atlanta, which specializes in the design and construction management of financial facilities, was selected to provide architecture, interior design and full-time, on-site construction management for the main office project.
DBC has served the financial community since 1975 and has completed more than 550 financial facility programs.
Through a competitive bid process, local sub-contractors and local suppliers provided the labor and building materials, keeping construction dollars in the community.
Accented by an arched portico, the exterior of the 2,700 square-foot facility features color-coordinated synthetic stucco, metal roof and aluminum storefront windows.
A tray ceiling, warm colors and an open floor plan on the interior will provide a comfortable environment for members to take advantage of the Credit Union's retail services.
