Since all four counters for the T.R. Miller Tigers golf team had better scores than Greenville's best score, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the outcome.
T.R. Miller won its fourth straight meet Tuesday when it easily outdistanced host Greenville 167-211.
As he has done every meet this season, Tripp Owens continued to pace T.R. Miller's scoring with a one-over-par 36. James Dixon also cracked the 30s with a 39. Hayes Martin checked in at 45 and Brooks Fussell rounded out the counter positions at 47. Clay Parker also competed and finished at 50.
Greenville's best individual score was 48.
The Tigers have an unusual 18-hole schedule Monday. T.R. Miller will host Monroe County and Excel for a nine-hole meet at 1:30 p.m. The Tigers will then take on Greenville in another nine-hole meet at 4 p.m.
