Jami Sims of Opelika, will be the guest speaker for the Sav-A-Life Family Resource Center's 18th annual fundraising banquet.
Sims is a wife, mother of four and founder of Abounding Grace Outreach Ministries. Transparent and real, Sims “opens the eyes of her audience to the greatness and grace of God,” organizers said.
As a post-abortive woman, Sims said she can relate to the countless women who are suffering in silence. Drawing others out of their self-protective shells and leading them to find freedom in Christ is her heart's desire, she said. With passion and boldness, she conveys the painful experiences that have molded her into the child of God she is today, organizers of the banquet said.
The banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at Brooks Memorial Baptist Church in Atmore.
Tickets are $15 per person, or $25 per couple.
Please call Mandy Cooper at 867-9508 or 867-4947 to reserve your tickets no later than April 24.
