Last unbeaten falls in Babe Ruth

There are no longer any undefeated teams left in the Brewton Babe Ruth League. There are also no longer any winless teams.
The Cubs suffered their first loss when they fell to the Indians 7-6. The Cubs then dealt the Rangers their first setback with a 10-0 decision. On the flip side, the Athletics picked up their first win when they bounced the Reds 12-2.
Rangers 10, Reds 6
RANGERS: William Shell threw a complete game six-hitter with 10 strikeouts to get the win. Justin Payne and Cody Swain had a single and scored two runs. Aaron Nelson had two singles, a double and scored two runs. Blake Crosby had a single. Michael McGaha had two singles.
REDS: Wil Riggs had a single and scored two runs. John Mathieu and Josh Palmer had a single. Mabry Cook had a single and a double. Caleb Palmer had a double.
Indians 7, Cubs 6
INDIANS: James Hamric worked the final two innings and struck out three to get the win. Corey Rilling had a single and scored two runs. Grant DeFrancisco, Colby Franks and Tyler Brown had a single. Tyson Godwin had two singles.
CUBS: Robert Knowles had a double. Houston Simmons had a single and scored two runs. Corey Williams had a single. Gordan Jones had two singles.
Athletics 12, Reds 2
ATHLETICS: Garrett Robinson allowed three hits and struck out three over the first three innings to get the win. Dylan Smith had two singles and scored three runs. Sam Sharpe had a single and scored two runs.
Tyler Cross had two singles and scored two runs. Trent Robinson had two singles. Nick Moore and William Brantley had a single. Justin Hammac scored three runs.
REDS: Wil Riggs, Caleb Smith, Ryland Dixon and Jacob Cannon had a single.
Cubs 10, Rangers 0
CUBS: Robert Knowles threw a complete game, one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts to get the win. Knowles also scored three runs. Landon Sowell had two singles. Houston Simmons had a double. Corey Williams had a single, a double and scored three runs. Stephen Warren had a single and a double.
RANGERS: William Shell had a single.
