Ms. Pamela Vannette Cooper, 43, died Monday, May 15, 2006, in a local hospital. She was a native of Detroit, Mich., and had been a resident of the Brewton area for the past five years. She was a member of Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Annette and Lewis Boykin of Brewton; two daughters, Vannette D. Cooper and Jakala K. Cooper, both of Brewton; one brother, Keith Cooper of Brewton; one sister, Wanda Samuel of Brewton; a special friend, Clarice McWilliams; one nephew and three nieces.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
