The Mets scored 12 unanswered runs after they entered the bottom of the second inning down 6-4. While it was a four-run rally in the bottom of the second that put the Mets in front to stay, it was an eight-run rally in the bottom of the third inning that proved decisive.
The Mets got two homeruns, both of the inside-the-park variety, from Landon Huff and Josh Bailey. Zac Bailey also had an extra base hit with a triple and scored twice. Dominique Jackson had a single and scored three runs. Huff scored twice to go with his homerun, while Bailey had a single and scored twice to go with his roundtripper. Lucas Agerton and Lowell Swain scored two runs.
Tyler Reid went the last two innings to get the win. Reid allowed one run and no hits to go with three strikeouts. Griffin started and went the first two innings.
Patrick Glass paced the Cubs' attack with a single and three runs scored. Taylin Padgett, Justin Sessions and James Gregory all had a single.

The East Brewton version of the Braves trailed 8-1 headed into the bottom of the third inning when they began their comeback with the game's final seven runs.
Dylan Godwin helped rally the East Brewton squad with an inside-the-park homerun, a single and two runs. Quantine Barksdale had the only other hit for the winners, a double. Dalton Smith and Michael Williams both scored two runs.
Godwin, the third of three Braves pitchers, picked up the win. He fanned one and did not give up a hit in his relief stint.
