Braves, Mets in city championship

The Mets and Braves advanced Thursday night to the Little League 9-10 city championship game.
East Brewton Braves 7, Brewton Cardinals, 6
BRAVES: Quantine Barksdale scored two runs while Michael Williams, Landon Blackmon, Dalton Smith, Robert Jones and Nick Lester all scored a run each.
The winning pitcher was Dylan Godwin who struck out six batters, walked two and gave up seven hits.
CARDINALS: Kyle Davis scored two runs while Walker Harris, Darby Black, Ryan Gray and Keion Smith scored a run each.
The losing pitcher was Deion Smith who struck out seven batters, walked four and gave up three hits.
Brewton Mets 7, East Brewton Athletics 6
METS: Zack Griffin, Dominique Jackson and Lowell Swain scored two runs each and Christian Alverez had a single run. The winning pitcher was Dominique Jackson who struck out 11 batters, walked five and gave up eight hits.
ATHLETICS: Damion Williams scored two runs while teammates Tyler Joyner, Dalton Simmons, Cameron Easterling and Dillon Simmons scored one run each.
The losing pitcher was Tyler Joyner who struck out 11, walked three and gave up three hits.
