Brewton native and Evergreen resident Terrance &#8220Terry” McCall, 48, died in an apparent logging accident Thursday in Covington County.
The accident occurred Thursday on Lockhart Church Road, officials in Covington County said. Sheriff Anthony Clark said the death was an accident, and Coroner Norman Hobson pronounced McCall dead at the scene.
McCall, a machine operator in the timber industry, was a member of Calvary Mennonite Church. Survivors include his wife, Judy Watson McCall of Evergreen; three sons; two daughters; and other family members.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. For more information, see page 3A.
