Mr. Glen Hall, 58, died Friday, May 26, 2006, at a Pensacola, Fla. hospital. He was a native and Walnut Hill, Fla., but had resided in Jay, Fla. for many years. He was retired from the United States Army having served 21 years with a tour of duty in Vietnam and earning numerous medals and ribbons. He worked a number of years for G.B. “Boots” Smith in Jay and Flomaton and for Weiser Security. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edison Hall and Ethel Goodale Horton.
He is survived by two sisters, Barbara (Mike) Johns of Jay, and Mary (Terry) Freeman of Walnut Hill; brothers, Larry (Sue) Horton of Jay, Charles Hall of Alabama and John and Joe Hall of Walnut Hill and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 29, at 10 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ray McCulla and the Rev. M.L. Bennett officiating. Burial followed at Dry Springs Cemetery with full military honors and Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
