Mr. Leon “Mason” Baggett, 74, died Sunday, June 3, 2006, in Evergreen. He was a native of Repton and a resident of Baggett's Chapel. He was a self-employed carpenter and attended Baggett's Chapel Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Melba F. Baggett of Baggett's Chapel; a son, Thomas “Tommy” Leon Baggett of Cedar Creek; eight daughters, Debra Kay (Marion) Cain of Castleberry, Dorlisa Gwen (Cohn) Wilson of Range, Macealena (David) Wiggins of Mill Creek, Martha Faye (Shannon) Cooper of Baggett's Chapel, Loretta Lynn (Daniel) Thomas of Dixonville, Gail (Ed) Hayes of Deer Creek, Ill., and Joyce (Bruce) Cole and Jeannie (Alvin) Mowen, both of Illinois; a sister, Drucilla Godwin of Montgomery; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
