A head-on collision along Highway 113 early Monday killed a driver - but authorities do not yet know who he is.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 113, south of I-65 at about the 15-mile marker, said Alabama State Troopers spokesman Joe Piggott.
The unidentified man was traveling north, driving a 1991 Mazda. Piggott said the man had no identification on him.
The driver of the other vehicle, John A. Woodyard of Leroy, was traveling south, driving a 2005 International truck when the accident occurred.
Piggott said the two vehicles collided on the southbound shoulder of the highway. The unidentified man was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the truck had minor injuries.
There was no suspicion of alcohol being a factor in the accident, Piggott said.
