Do you need a new place to wet your whistle and sit down to a home cooked meal? Well if you answer is yes, you are in luck.
The Cozy Corner is opening its doors Friday, and the mood around the restaurant is riding high.
Cozy Corner will have four dining rooms: one smoking, one non-smoking, a small banquet room (Fort Crawford Room) and a larger banquet room (Murder Creek Room).
The food will be just plain down-home style served from a buffet that consists of a salad bar, hot food bar and a dessert bar, owner Al Wood said.
Now if buffet food is not your style, the menu is available to serve sandwiches, hamburgers or a complete meal. Sit your self down with a big “Mason jar” of tea and enjoy the food.
Wood said he is excited about the new business.
With the help of 16 employees and the manager, Sandy Kottich, food will be served right away and at a reasonable price.
Be sure and notice the wagon on the wall as you enter the restaurant, and the dining rooms will be outfitted with televisions and wireless Internet.
The kitchen is large and there is a walk-in cooler and a built-in freezer to make sure the customer gets the very best.
Although the restaurant will be opening on Friday, that will only be the beginning. Coming soon will be a fragrance shop and an ice cream parlor.
