The district tournament for 11-12s kicks off July 1 at Andalusia. Covington County, which also has a first-round bye, gets the Opp-Evergreen winner at 8 p.m.
Pairings have been announced for the Babe Ruth District Tournaments for 14 and 15-year-olds. While the times have not been announced, both tournaments are scheduled to get under way July 3 at Monroeville.
The schedule for the 14s hinges on whether or not South Monroe fields a team. That decision will be announced within a few days. If South Monroe competes, it will face Monroeville in the opening round. The winner of the South Monroe-Monroeville contest will play Atmore, which drew a first-round bye. Brewton drew a first-round matchup against Evergreen.
If South Monroe is unable to field a team, no first-round byes will be issued. Brewton will still play Evergreen in the opening round, while Atmore will face Monroeville.
The tournament for 15s will get started with a first-round game between Atmore and Monroeville. The Atmore-Monroeville winner will play Brewton, which has a first-round bye, in round two. Evergreen and South Monroe will hook up in the other first-round game.
The scheduled for the Babe Ruth 13s was announced last week. That tournament gets under way June 30 at Atmore. Brewton plays Atmore at 6 p.m. in the opening round.
