Brittany Rife, daughter of Angela Parker of Brewton has been selected as a finalist in the Pre-Teen Alabama Scholarship and Recognition Program to be held Sept. 2-4 at the Sheraton Hotel in Birmingham.
She has been selected because of her academics, awards and honors, which have been recognized publicly. State finalists will be judged on academic achievement, volunteer service, school honors, development of personal skills, general knowledgeability, communications and on-stage acknowledgements of accomplishments.
Pre-Treen Alabama will award more than $5,000 in education bonds, prizes and awards.
