Luther Strange won the Republican primary runoff for lieutenant governor Tuesday and will face Democrat Jim Folsom Jr. in the general election in November.
Strange, a lobbyist, beat George Wallace in statewide voting. Strange also won 69.87 percent of the vote in Escambia County.
Turnout was low across the state in the runoff. There were no local Escambia County races.
