Mr. Arthur Rolin, 60, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore, a veteran of the U.S. Army and an employee of Baldwin Sod.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Diane Rolin of Atmore; two sons, Douglas MacArthur (Becky) Rolin of Atmore and Brian A. Pierce of Byrneville, Fla.; his daughter, Selina Lynn Gibson of Brewton; seven brothers, Wilbert (Joyce) Rolin, Charles (Betty) Rolin, Norman (Ester) Rolin, Ray (Norman Jean) Rolin and Raymond (Mary) Rolin, all of Atmore; four sisters, Geneva (Roy) Shivers of Flomaton, Mable (Sherrell) Lambert, Joyce (Walter) Myrick and Debra Strickland, all of Atmore; two brothers-in-law and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. at the Gospel Light Church with the Rev. Clarence Rolin officiating. Burial followed at Serenity Garden Cemetery with Petty Funeral Home directing.
