Mrs. Donna Kay Childress Stoker, 40, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006 in Century. She was a native of Byrneville, Fla., a lifelong resident of Byrneville and Century attended the Methodist church and was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Edward Childress.
She is survived by three sons, Jason (Amanda) Mathis, Jeremy Mathis and Eric Mathis, both of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Jessica Mathis and Brandi Brown Davidson, both of Brewton; her mother, Willie Mae Childress of Byrneville; her stepfather, Johnnie Henry Burkett of Byrneville; a brother, Michael Childress of Byrneville and a grandchild, Jordan Brignano of Panama City.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Willis officiating. Burial followed at Little Escambia Cemetery with Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jerry Gulledge, Darell Miller, Randy Wiggins, Jim Bell, Roger Emmons and Buddy Burkett.
