Mrs. Juanita Thompson Partin, 77, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, in a local nursing home. She was a native of Munson, Fla., and had been a resident of Brewton since 1965. She had worked as a seamstress at Judy Bond for a number of years and was a member of East Brewton Community of Christ Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alexander &#8220Bill” Partin, and two brothers, Elmer Thompson and Richard Thompson.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula (Bob) Bryant of Brewton and Phala (Jim) Hay of Bedford, Texas; three brothers, Ed Thompson Jr., Bobby Thompson and Billy Thompson, all of Brewton; two sisters, Doris Bullock and Eloise Agerton, both of Brewton; two grandchildren, Beverly Brown of Brewton and Tractor Bryant of Montgomery and one great-grandchild, Alex Brown.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Ellis officiating. Burial followed at Pinegrove Cemetery in Berrydale, Fla. with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
