Here Al Gore and I, along with thousands of honest scientists, can agree.  Much of what is driving the global warming debate is based on unreliable and unsubstantiated claims, much of which has been derived from the unreliable computer models that Gore alluded to above.  The unreliability of computer models for long-range weather forecasting has been made even more evident this summer.  As you may recall, after the previous three hurricane seasons, computer-generated models predicted a very active hurricane season with four or five major storms.  Thus far, there have been only four named tropical disturbances and no major storms.  By this time last year, we were facing our eleventh named hurricane
