Mr. Holland Dixon, 79, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at a local hospital. He was a native of East Brewton and a resident of Pensacola for most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dixon; three sisters-in-law, Fannie (Bob) Talbot, Evelyn (Robert) Hicks and Ruby (Jack) Bacon and one brother-in-law, Roy (Joy) Jones.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at Chapel of Faith Funeral Home South with Pastor Julian Walker officiating. Burial followed at Barrancas National Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home South directing.
