Mrs. Carolyn Yvonne Wilson Singleton, 52, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of native of Bagdad, Fla., and a long-time resident of Escambia County. She was a registered nurse with 27 years of service.
She is survived by her mother, Lois Sellers of East Brewton; a son, Shannon Singleton of Brewton; a brother, Steve Wilson of Brewton; two sisters, Shirley Emmons and Becky Wilson, both of East Brewton and one granddaughter, Jacqueline Olivia Singleton.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery in the Appleton community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
