Riggs scores in first
game at Huntingdon
Former T.R. Miller Tiger wide receiver Mikel Riggs made a quick impact for Huntingdon College in his first collegiate action Sunday.
Riggs hauled in three catches for 54 yards, one of which was an eight-yard touchdown reception, to pace Huntingdon's junior varsity to a 24-3 victory at LaGrange College, Ga..
Riggs is a freshman at Huntingdon and the son of Jamie and Becky Riggs of Brewton.
TRM QB Club to have tailgate party Friday
The T.R. Miller Quarterback Club will have a Membership Appreciation Tailgate Party Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the T.R. Miller Fieldhouse parking lot. The party is for members and their families.
Membership will be accepted at a cost of $20, which will cover the 2006-07 school year.
