JDCC inducts new members into Phi Theta Kappa

The Jefferson Davis Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa held its fall semester induction ceremony in the Neal Center Auditorium on the Brewton campus.
Dr. Marilyn Nicholson, one of JDCC's counselors, was the guest speaker at the ceremony.
Nicholson challenged the inductees to continue to strive for “excellence” as members of Phi Theta Kappa by seeking opportunities in leadership, service and fellowship.
Jefferson Davis Community College Chapter President Kiana Lee and chapter Vice President Jullian Crutchfield led the induction ceremony for the new members.
Faculty advisors for the chapter are Loletta Redmon and Mike Tedder.
Phi Theta Kappa is an international academic honor society for two-year college students.
To be eligible for membership in the honor society, members must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
