Mr. Robert Odell Fore, 83, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, in a local hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Flomaton where he worked for Dixie Sand and Gravel as a mechanic. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the South Pacific, winning several medals. He was a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Fore of Flomaton; his sons, Tony (Becky) Fore of Flomaton, Eric (Charlene) Fore of Snellville, Ga. and Tommy Rex (Ann) Fore of Brewton; a daughter, Wanda (Tim) Faulk of Dothan; a brother, D.W. Fore of Grand Isle, Neb.; a sister, Mildred Newby of Brewton; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Faulk officiating. Burial followed at Little Escambia Cemetery with military honors with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Richard Fore, Ryan Fore, Darrell Fore, Kevin Faulk, Robbie Fore and Tippy Wagner.
