Change needed in representation

We have been so tragically under represented in our District 66 for 24 years and we are being asked to send Skippy White back to Montgomery yet again.
Mr. White is an amiable person; however he must not be allowed to continue the ruse as &#8220representing” us any longer. Health problems, not of his doing, kept him from attending all of the 2003 and much of the 2004 legislative sessions. Frequently, the times he did attend in 2005 and 2006, he stayed long enough to say hello, then called it a day. When he actually was in attendance, he did not bother to vote on many important pieces of legislation, but did push the &#8220present” button. One wonders if these absences prevented Mr. White from cashing his paycheck as our representative.
According to the Secretary of State's website, it appears Representative White used the last of his campaign contributions, in excess of $29,000, to buy a car (from Florida) in an uncontested election year! It may or may not be illegal but surely unethical in most quarters.
Furthermore, taxpayer dollars should never be used to build monuments to living public servants. The Skippy White ‘North' and ‘South' bridge signs are embarrassments. A public building, road or bridge, etc
