Earlier in the season the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks volleyball team snapped a 26-game losing streak.
That lone win has since been followed by 26 more losses in a row. The skid hit that figure Thursday when JDCC concluded regular season play with a 30-12, 30-14, 30-16 loss at Pensacola Junior College.
JDCC (1-32 overall and 0-16 in league play) concluded a winless Alabama Community College Conference season Tuesday when it fell at Northwest Shoals 30-16, 30-21, 30-15.
Net play was a huge factor in the game, as Northwest Shoals put away 44 kills as compared to just 13 for JDCC. Ashley Willoughby led the Lady Warhawks with five kills, while Robyn Duncan had three.
Tiffany Lively had the hottest service hand with six of her team's seven aces.
The Lady Warhawks eplay at Lawson State Tuesday in the state tournament play-in game.
