Eagles to face Jemison, play first game Thursday
W.S. Neal's first-round playoff opponent was determined Friday night when Jemison emerged as the number two seed out of Class 4A Region 4.
The first-round game will be played at Jemison Thursday at 7 p.m.
Fayette County, Jemison and Central-Tuscaloosa all tied for first place in that region with 6-1 record. Fayette County drew the number one seed because its defeated opponents had the most wins. After that tie was broken, Jemison drew the second seed based on its head-to-head win over Central-Tuscaloosa.
