Raines gets baseball offer from Troy Trojans
T.R. Miller Tigers senior infielder Baxley Raines has been offered a scholarship to play at Troy University.
Raines received Honorable Mention on last spring's Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State Team. Raines hit .463 (44-for-95) with 13 doubles, two triples, a school record eight homeruns and 32RBIs.
Playoff tickets for TRM game on sale at school
Tickets for T.R. Miller's first-round home playoff game against Greene County will be available at the school office during school hours until Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets will also be sold at the gate. Gates will open for Friday's 7 p.m. contest at 5:30 p.m.
All tickets will cost $7. That price is set by the Alabama High School Athletic Association.
TRM to hold pep rally
A pep rally for the T.R. Miller Tigers will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the new gym.
The Tigers host Greene County Friday in the first round of the Class 4A state playoffs.
Playoff tickets for WSN game on sale at school
W.S. Neal fans who wish to purchase tickets for Thursday's playoff game at Jemison may do so at the school office during school hours until lunch hour Thursday or as long as ticket supplies last.
Tickets cost $7. Game time is 7 p.m.
WSN QB Club $10,000 Giveaway tickets on sale
Tickets still remain for the W.S. Neal Quarterback Club's $10,000 Giveaway.
Tickets cost $100 and can be purchased from any W.S. Neal Quarterback Club member.
The drawing will be held Nov. 30 at the Ag/Science building. Winners need not be present to win.
In addition to the grand prize $10,000 winning ticket, a ticket for $500 and two tickets for $1,000 will also be drawn.

NMS reschedules game
W.S. Neal Middle School has postponed Thursday's girls and boys basketball home games against Ernest Ward and rescheduled them for Dec. 11.
