Mr. Marion Yvonne McDonald, 71, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Conecuh County and a retired school bus driver, farmer and logger. He was of the Baptist faith and former fire chief for the Range Volunteer Fire Department with 10 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Romona Ross McDonald of Range; three sons, Johnny (Carol) McDonald of Range, and Steve (Jackie) McDonald and Eddie (Connie) McDonald, both of Repton; one sister, Helen (Carl) Reed of Monroeville; four grandchildren, John and Erika McDonald of Range and Eric and Ben Bradley of Repton, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held, Monday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Boatwright and the Rev. Carl Reed Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Springhill Methodist Cemetery in Lenox with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
