The Escambia County Retired Senior Volunteer Program is currently seeking volunteers for the upcoming tax season.
Volunteers will be used to provide assistance to elderly, disabled and low-income families as they prepare tax returns for the 2006 tax filing season. Assistance in filling out forms for state and federal returns will be provided to eligible persons.
Those interested in assisting should call 867-0255 for additional information. Instruction on proper filing procedures will be provided to those who volunteer for the service.
