Mr. Charles Ralph Garrett, 87, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, in a local healthcare facility. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. He and his wife owned and operated Garrett's Flower Shop for a number of years. He was a member of Brewton's First Baptist Church and &#8220The Knights of the Round Table.” He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Armstrong Garrett.
He is survived by a son, Philip (Joy) Odom of Brewton; two daughters, Martha O. (Robert) Byrne of Mobile and Angela (Wayne) Pugh of Brewton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Fitts and the Rev. John Finklea officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
