Mrs. Idelle M. Harold, 92, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in a local nursing facility. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Brewton area. She was a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, George P. Harold; a daughter, Betty Hammond; a son, George Phillip Harold Jr.; a great-grandson, Torrey Azzole; four brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by one son, Phillip Harold of Calhoun, Ga.; a daughter, Flora Dell Sprague of Fort Deposit; a sister, Mizelle Stacey of Brewton; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. at Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Dyal officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
