Mrs. Nancy Mizelle Morris Grice Stacey, 93, of Dailey Street, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native and a lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala., and was retired from the textile industry. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a son, Floyd Thomas (Sue) Grice of East Brewton; a daughter, Sylvia Marie Grice of East Brewton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m. at Fort Crawford Cemetery with the Rev. Frankie Phillips and the Rev. Ron Headley officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
