Mr. Jerry Eugene Taylor, 66, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, in a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Birmingham and had been a resident of East Brewton for the past 15 years. He had been employed by Downs Paint and Body for a number of years and he was a member of Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Jean Taylor of East Brewton; his mother, Beatrice Skipper of Mobile; three sons, David Taylor and Darrell Taylor, both of Mobile, and Paul Booker of Brewton; one daughter, Cindy Collier of Birmingham; two sisters, Shirley Holmes and Geraldine Edgar, both of Mobile; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Hanberry Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
